Summer 2015 Stitch Fix Review

For those of you who don't know, Stitch Fix is a women's clothing subscription box.  I love this box because unfortunately my boys do not like to shop nearly as much as I do, so this gives me my fashion fix without having to leave my house.  I also love that the clothing pieces are unique and not the same as what everyone else buys at the mall.

If you're interested in giving Stitch Fix a try all you have to do is SIGN UP, fill out a short style profile, decide how often you'd like a shipment, and create and link a pinterest board if you'd like (here is mine).  Then, a stylist chooses 5 unique pieces of clothing just for you!  You receive a package of neatly wrapped clothing, a detailed personalized note from your stylist, and style cards to show you how to wear each item of clothing.  Try it all on, keep what you like, and return what you don't in the prepaid bag.  You only pay a $20 styling fee which is credited toward any clothing that you purchase, so as long as you keep at least one item, the service is essentially FREE!  As a bonus, if you keep all 5 items you also get a 25% discount.

Style Card & Stylist Note

Stitch Fix #1: June 2015

Gili Ryland Maxi Dress
At 5'5", I'm not usually a fan of maxi dresses, but this dress is a beautiful print, doesn't show cleavage (which I specifically requested), and is the softest material ever.
Keep
Renee C Laverna V Neck Tunic
I love the color and print of this tunic, but after being pregnant for what feels like the last 3 years I didn't want anything that looked remotely like maternity and this does to me.  This tunic also shows a little too much up top for my liking.
Return

41 Hawthorn Moni Geo Print & Camisole Blouse
I love the style of this top as well as the brass detail on the sleeves and chest.  The print and color are also perfect for fall and I have received many compliments on it.
Keep

Market & Spruce Bernadette Lace Overlay Raglan Top
Just Black Jimmy Skinny Jean in Navy
In my stylist note mentioned how much I love lace, so this top was easy to love.  This top will be perfect for cool summer nights!
Keep
These jeans blew my mind, they're the perfect skinny jean, the perfect fit and perfect color!

My stylist, Kim, did an amazing job on my 1st fix; I loved and kept 4 out of the 5 items that she picked for me.  I still can not figure out how is it possible that I can try on 20 pieces of clothing at a store and leave without purchasing one, but my stylist is able to find me the perfect pieces, sight unseen!
Just amazing if you ask me, click here to give it a try!

Welcome to Shopaholic Teacher Mommy

As I contemplated what to name my blog I tried to think of words that define me and it was hard to narrow it down.  I'm also a wife, friend, sister, daughter, leader, party thrower, crafter, clean-freak, and perfectionist, but Shopaholic Teacher Mommy seemed to sum up what I'll be talking about the most on this blog.  Enjoy!
